Visit The European Union in Miniature

So your time in Europe is a’tickin’ right? So I am sure most of you can only see so many places while you are in Europe! Well I have the perfect place for you and your family to get in most of it all at one time! That place is MiniEurope in Brussels, Belgium!

MiniEurope is an open air museum that represents over 80 cities and presents over 300+ famous buildings and landmarks.  You will see the miniatures of Big Ben in London, the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, windmills from Holland (the Netherlands), the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and much more!

Cool Fact: From above (maybe the Atomium?), MiniEurope is laid out just like the map of Europe!

My children really enjoyed this park and seeing landmarks that we have already seen before.  Another fact is that the lush vegetation in the park acts like a filter for the water-areas!

Also be sure to check out the Proud to be European exhibit which is inside (near the end). The exhibit talks about who is in the EU, who is eligible for aid, and you can learn things about the EU as well (such as language).

Tip: Be sure to wear comfortable shoes since it is some walking! And make sure you bring something to hydrate yourself(especially on hot days)

Thank you so much for reading our review of MiniEurope in Brussels.  Thank you to Maxim with MiniEurope for showing us around the park for a bit and giving us some background information!  We certainly had a great time seeing the amazing landmarks in Europe.  The size and detail of the models is just amazing!  Would love to bring family there in the future!
